Picture2Sometime  in November, Nell Robinson, certified teacher, from The Center for The Visually Impaired will be holding classes at The Cottages on Wesleyan for both Cottages and Gables residents.

Whatever your vision might be, the professionals at the Low Vision Clinic can suggest the tools to make it easier to do the things you want to do. Learn how to enhance your sight with powerful magnifiers, digital devices, lamps and special low vision items. Based on your specific goals and needs, you will be shown how to make the best use of your remaining vision.

Most private insurance is accepted. Medicare coverage is available for those who qualify.

Maintaining your home can be a challenge when you have vision loss. Learn specialized tips and techniques for cooking, cleaning, organizing your pantry and closets, and managing money. Let them know what skills you need help with and their certified teachers will work with you.
